Battlefield, an insanely popular IP which has taken place during most of the significant wars and conflicts throughout history. Being a game that has already been set in the past, present, and even future, how would you create a completely new experience while keeping the same feel that Battlefield is known for? Luckily Visceral Games had the answer, and together with EA they had set out to bring Battlefield to a brand new war: The war on crime between Cops and Criminals.

Battlefield Hardline take place in the streets of Los Angeles and Miami, letting us experience the
conflict between the Cops and Criminals as they race to complete their mission like never
before. Powered by DICE’s award winning Frostbite 3 engine, tearing across an extremely
detailed map like those in Battlefield has never looked better. Following the basic rules of ‘Cops
and Robbers’ and ‘Capture the Flag’ Battlefield Hardline allows you to fulfill your ultimate
fantasies of being a Cop or Criminal.
Bringing their experience and pedigree on single player storytelling, Battlefield Hardline sees
Visceral Games create a deep, engaging, and memorable story. Filled with exciting and tense
moments as you progress through what could be best described as a modern day TV crime
drama. Packed with an unforgettable atmosphere and action charged moments, this is a
Battlefield that can’t be missed.
While on the multiplayer side of things, you’re given the choice of lacing up your boots and join
the front lines as a Cop as you partake in shooting up grow labs, engaging in firefights outside of
banks, and testing your endurance and reflexes as you engage in pursuit of those whom you are
sworn to take down. Or you can step into the dark underworld of the cities and fight to protect
your “investments”, blow up bank vaults, and test your agility and handling as you speed through
the city with bags of loot in the trunk or on your side as you do whatever it takes to get away.
Now of course it wouldn’t be Battlefield without having some awesome vehicles and equipment,
and Hardline does not disappoint. With bikes and helicopters used to quickly traverse the maze
of the city being classic ways of moving around, to more unconventional ways such as grappling
hooks and zip lines letting you move up and down buildings and glide across rooftops. To
powerful new weapons at your disposal as you embark to experience the thrill of making the
ultimate getaway with loads of loot, or experience the satisfaction of ending a long fight with the
ultimate bust and take down.
