Today, 2K and Gearbox Software officially announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, an all-new standalone Borderlands game that is set in-between the first Borderlands game and Borderlands 2. Taking place on Pandora’s moon, the game offers low-gravity gunfights and four new playable characters – including Claptrap.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is currently in co-development by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia, and will launch in fall 2014 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
