PlayStation Blogcast Delayed For A "Very Special" Episode

Some of you may know, others may not, but the good folks over at the official PlayStation Blog started a podcast, aptly named the “PlayStation Blogcast” late last year. The episodes air every Thursday night, except for special ocassions where embargoed announcements are made or the rare delay.

Well, the PlayStation Blogcast is once again being delayed for  a very special episode (#51), according to a tweet from PlayStation:

A very special episode of PlayStation Blogcast is coming your way Friday am. It’ll be worth the wait

As we noted earlier, it wouldn’t be unreasonable for PlayStation to delay the blogcast until Friday for an announcement of sorts. They have done it in the past, for example for the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale reveal. Can we expect an announcement for something else tomorrow? Nothing outstanding pops up in my mind at the moment. No doubt the folks at SCEA are prepping for the big release of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale in just a few days – could it be a show for something along those lines? In addition, we may not get a PlayStation Blogcast next week due to the Thanksgiving holidays. Maybe this a pre-Thanksgiving/Black Friday episode talking about some gaming deals and new bundles. We don’t know for sure, but we’ll have to wait and see. If it’s something significant, you can be assured we’ll let you know right here on GXC.

What do you think we can expect from this upcoming special edition of the PlayStation Blogcast tomorrow? Sound off in the comments below!
