#GodofWar announcement reveal to 10/22, all who cannot bear with, may speak to Zeus directly
PlayStation has teased a “big” God of War: Ascension announcement is coming on Monday October 15, 2012 on their blog. In a note to fans while revealing the Collector’s Edition of the game, Todd Papy – Director for God of War: Ascension said,
“We’ve got something big coming on October 15th, so be sure to come back […] Monday afternoon and see what it is.”
The game has already been announced for a March 12, 2013 release on the PlayStation 3. In addition, a surprise announcement was made earlier this year on the inclusion of a multiplayer mode for the game – a first for the franchise. What more could PlayStation possibly have to reveal about the next installment of Kratos’ journeys?
Until Monday, we will not know for sure what the announcement will include – but could it possibly be for a Vita version of the game or a brand new God of War Vita game all together? Back in June, we also reported on a rumor that God of War: Ascension could possibly be making its way to the new portable gaming device. Will these rumors be validated on Monday or will the be squashed forever?
Other possibilities include information on the upcoming MP beta for the game and/or demo – although those have already been announced, so the obscurity of the post wouldn’t be completely necessary.
One thing’s for sure, we’ll bring you the news on whatever is revealed this coming Monday. So make sure to keep it locked to GamerXChange.
Sound off in the comments below: What do you think the announcement could be for? Would you welcome God of War: Ascension or a new GoW game on the Vita?
