PlayStation Plus: Expanding To Your Vita and Increasing Storage

PlayStation’s premium subscription-based service is getting a slight upgrade later this year. As announced at Sony’s Gamescom 2012 conference, PS Plus will finally be coming to your PlayStation Vita.

The content and benefits that are usually exclusive to PS+ members on the PS3 will now be available on PlayStation Vitas. So you will be able to download compatible PS+ software for the Vita, get certain discounts, along with other member exclusive benefits.

What’s more, PlayStation Plus will also be upgrading the service a bit with an increase of cloud storage. That’s right, no more having to worry about using up your game save cloud space so fast. PlayStation is upgrading the storage for each member from the measly 150 MB to 1 GB of storage. So now you can save a lot more to the cloud!

What kind of things would you like to see for PS+ on the Vita? Also is 1GB good enough storage for you? Sound off in the comments below!

  1. 1 GB is a lot more than 150 MB and I have been managing that pretty well so I can’t wait for the upgrade. I may even get a vita.
