PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale To Have Over 20 Characters, Two More Revealed

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s roster is progressively growing as PlayStation and Superbot Entertainment reveal more characters to join the PS brawler. Since E3 2012, officially the following characters have been revealed:

  • Kratos
  • Sweet Tooth
  • Parappa
  • Fat Princess
  • Colonel Radec
  • Sly Cooper
  • Nathan Drake
  • Big Daddy

Today, two more have been added to that list making the roster now stand at 10. At EVO Las Vegas tonight, Sony revealed the following characters will be joining the beat ’em up fun:

  • Toro Inoue
  • Heihachi Mishima
What’s more, a new stage was also revealed; Inspired by the world of Parappa and with Killzone mechs stomping around in the back.

Now the character list is at least almost halfway complete. We will get another 11 (or more) character reveals leading up to the game’s release this October including two more at SDCC next weekend. How do we know this? According to the PlayStation Retail Loyalty site, Battle Royale is set to have over 20 first and third party characters on the roster. There is no set number yet that we  know of but when we do find out, we’ll be sure to tell you! No doubt, chances are as time progresses, after the game’s release, we will probably see even more characters made available with DLC packs.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (we need to find a shorter way of saying this) is set to release October 23, 2012 on PS3 and PS Vita. Sound off in the comments below: What do you think of the new characters? Who else do you want to join the roster? Discuss below!
