GameStop Expo 2012 – Annual Conference Now Opening To The Public

Love them or hate them, GameStop is the world’s largest multichannel retailer of video games. Every year, they have an employee only conference/expo. However, before the world comes to an end in 2012, they’re mixing things up a bit.  GameStop PowerUp Rewards members are now invited to experience that expo with more than 200,000 square feet of video gaming at the first-ever GameStop EXPO 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. For the first time, the public will have the opportunity to experience new video games before they’re released, enter to win prizes, and meet with top video game publishers and special guests at the GameStop Expo during the annual GameStop conference.

GameStop is also offering a limited number of VIP admissions (in addition to the general admission passes) that include passes to some exclusive areas and experiences in the expo. General admission is $35 and VIP admission is $100. Admission is payable with either a PowerUp Rewards points or credit card.

The GameStop EXPO 2012 will take place on Aug. 29, 2012 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
