Skyrim Adds Kinect Support, More 360 Exclusive Content To Come

Now you have a legitimate reason to look crazy while shouting out “Fus, Ro, Dah!” Today, Bethesda announced that Kinect enabled functions are coming to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The new Kinect support will be available for free as a title update this month, and will feature more than 200 Voice Commands.

The Kinect for Xbox 360 integration offers Voice Commands including Dragon Shouts, Hotkey Equipping, Follower Commands, and all Menus (Items, Magic, Map, Barter, Container, Favorites, and Skills). It will also add new functionality including special map functions, additional hotkey options, and the ability to sort inventory items by name, weight, and value. You can check out the Skryim Kinect video preview that shows all of this off below:

But that’s not all that 360 gamers will get for Skyrim, Bethesda has also been working on creating the first set of game add-ons that will be exclusive to the Xbox 360. This additional content will add new quests, locations, features, and much more to the world of Skyrim. There are no release dates or details on this content so we’ll bring you the updates as they come.
