EA Announces Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut, Free To Download

Well, it looks as if all the whining and crying about Mass Effect 3’s ending worked and EA has answered your call. *Sigh, gamers*because the “worst company” in the nation would want to please their fans, right?

Well, all sarcasm aside, BioWare  and Electronic Arts have officially announced Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut. Extended Cut will come in the form of a downloadable content pack that will expand upon the events at the end of Mass Effect 3. Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes. Coming this summer, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will be free to download (until April 12, 2014 – You have two years… come on!) on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

So, there you have it folks. For those of you who cried a river over the endings of Mass Effect 3, maybe you’ll have something more to complain about once this DLC pack hits this summer. God forbid, you may even be satisfied.

So sound off in the comments below! What do you think of BioWare’s latest move in releasing an extended cut DLC pack? How did you feel about the ending of Mass Effect 3?
