Epic Game Trailers – Part. 1

Let’s face it, if it were not for video game trailers, we would barely get hyped for games. They may scare us, charm us, or even confuse us! They get our heart beating, our mind thinking, our fingers anxiously anticipating the day when we will mash away at those buttons when the game is released. So, I figured we would do a little something different today instead of making you all read so much. We know how much you gamers love that. Let’s just take a quick look at some pretty awesome game trailers we have ever seen over the years. This will be a weekly special for this month of March – 10 trailers per week. Here’s part I. Those of you who might get your panties in a bunch because your personal favorite is not listed this time around, make sure you stay tuned. No more talking! Its time to pull back the curtains. So grab your popcorn and your significant other and lets get to watching!

Killzone 3

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Professor Layton and the Devil’s Box

Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Halo: Reach

Resistance 3

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

That’s it for week one in the Epic Game Trailers series. Be sure to stay tuned to see what trailers we feature next week. We know there are a lot of great ones out there and we have a lot in mind to feature. However, let’s give you a chance to speak out. What are some of your favorite or most notable game trailers? New or old and for any system or device. Maybe the ones you pick will be featured next time too! Sound off in the comments below.

  1. I think Mirrors Edge trailer should be in one of these. I’d never heard of it before this trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/scee-playstation-mirrors-edge/33585?type=flv

I think the music makes it and in the end I didn’t get the game but I definitely talked about the trailer at the time!

    • The Mirror’s Edge gameplay trailer is surely going to be one of the trailers featured in some upcoming Epic Game Trailers articles.

  2. uhhhh where is the 15min MGS4 trailer? its smashes these out of the water

    • I agree that it is a great trailer, it was actually one of the ones we considered, but due to length cut it for part one of the series. If enough people do request it, we will feature it in one of the upcoming parts.

  3. Modern Warfare 1/2 need to be on this list. MW1 for just coming out of left field with (at the time) what looked like the most amazing game ever. And MW2 for great editing/directing and pushing the game to epic hype mode (the way the music builds up in the end as you’re getting lifted out of the prison = classic).

MGS4, the 1st 15minute one that came out in Japanese only. Not so much of a trailer as it is a mini movie but still pushed the Hype meter all the way past 10.

Starcraft II’s trailer was really good.

    Fallout 3 was good.

Gears of War 1 Madworld trailer.

Crysis 2’s New York, New York trailer was awesome.

Ok i’m done naming em, i can be here all day.

    • Thanks for your suggestions! There almost 5 weeks in March, so expect at least 4 more articles featuring trailers which = at least 40 more trailers to be featured. We’ll consider your suggestions too!

  4. If the GoW3 trailer, MGS4 theatrical trailer, Deus Ex Human revolution trailer, and Uncharted 2 E3 trailer don’t make this list I will be sad.
